R&D Embedded Software - Verification Engineer - IDC

Overview

Embedded Software Verification Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of embedded software through test strategy development, execution, and defect resolution.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and execute embedded software test cases across unit, integration, system, and regression stages.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts and verification frameworks.
• Run regression testing to confirm new changes do not introduce defects.
• Perform system testing to validate end-to-end functionality and performance of embedded systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to review requirements, identify risks, and share timely quality feedback.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues with developers.
• Document test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in a related technical field.
• Proven experience in embedded software testing.
• Strong expertise in integration testing, regression testing, and system testing.
• Solid understanding of Verification and Validation (V&V) principles and methodologies.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks relevant to embedded systems.
• Familiarity with embedded operating systems and hardware platforms.
