Overview
Platform Engineer role focused on designing, building, automating, and operating secure, scalable, reliable engineering platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain internal developer platforms with reusable services, templates, pipelines, and automation.
- Create and manage cloud-native platform components on Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and container registries.
- Standardize CI/CD pipeline templates using Azure DevOps for build, test, security scanning, deployment, and release automation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage consistent environments.
- Enable GitOps and configuration-driven deployment for repeatable, auditable, scalable platform operations.
- Improve platform reliability using observability, incident analysis, and continuous operational improvements.
- Integrate platform security controls such as secrets management, container and dependency scanning, and policy enforcement.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, or cloud-native delivery.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Azure DevOps, GitOps, and platform automation.
- Experience designing Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, release automation, branching strategies, and reusable pipeline templates.
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ARM/Bicep, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with GitOps tools and practices including Argo CD or Flux.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, or Application Insights.
- Good knowledge of security topics including secrets management, identity/access control, and secure SDLC/DevSecOps concepts.
