RBIN – Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer, Process Planner, NaP/MFC22

Overview

Translate customer, stakeholder, and regulatory needs into technical inputs to build and improve a manufacturing value stream. Own planning, process control, risk/corrective actions, project delivery, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Plan and continually develop a manufacturing value-add flow with resources needed to build and deliver compliant products.
• Monitor internal and external requirements and collaborate cross-functionally to drive value stream projects toward a future state.
• Establish, document, and release production processes and controls (e.g., CpK, PPAP, control plans, work instructions, SPC).
• Estimate and track budgets for upcoming planning periods and executing development projects.
• Identify and evaluate risks and implement preventive and reactive measures for delivery, defect prevention, and contingencies.
• Compile deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to limit customer and business impact.
• Prepare vendor inquiries and manage purchase requests and item availability for tooling/consumables and technology needs.

What you'll need

• Min 2-5 years of process planning experience in the auto component manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mech, Automobile, EEE, ECE or IP).
• Competent knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine-related topics.
• Advanced knowledge of project management and production monitoring systems (e.g., MES, MAS, i4.0 solutions).
• Knowledge of engineering drawing and engineering statistics (Machine & Process Capability), SPC, GD&T, and MSA.
• Competent knowledge of IE techniques and advanced compliance/risk management topics.
• Excellent skills using AIAG core tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, WI, engineering change management).
