RCM Customer Success Specialist 1

Overview

RCM Customer Success Specialist 1 is a customer-facing, entry-level role supporting assigned revenue cycle management (RCM) client accounts with day-to-day transactional tasks and case triage.

What you'll do

• Manage client emails, support cases, and transactional questions about charges, payments, and claims.
• Triaging incoming inquiries and ensure resolutions within a 48-hour SLA.
• Conduct claim-level denial reviews, patient balance reviews, and demographic reviews with client practice staff.
• Manage phone queues for transactional questions and route inquiries to appropriate internal parties.
• Oversee daily support across approximately 20 assigned client accounts.
• Review client issue examples to diagnose underlying problems and prepare documentation for internal subject matter experts.
• Identify and escalate larger claim issues, recurring trends, or contract-related matters.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training in medical billing, healthcare business processes, or revenue cycle management.
• Solid knowledge of medical billing and coding plus healthcare business processes.
• Strong understanding of insurance carriers including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills and PowerPoint skills required.
• Detailed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organization and time management skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
