Record to Report Ops Analyst

Overview

Record to Report Ops Analyst role within Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, focused on General Accounting & Controls: executing journal entries, account reconciliations, and SOX-controlled processes.

What you'll do

• Collect operational data reports, conduct analysis and reconcile transactions to help determine financial outcomes.
• Prepare, validate and post standard journals with complete support, correct coding and documented approvals.
• Perform account analysis, investigate unusual balances and support variance commentary and management reporting inputs.
• Execute assigned SOX controls and maintain complete evidence, process records and key-report documentation.
• Monitor quality and timeliness, resolve routine exceptions and identify standardization, automation and control improvements, specific KPI targets.
• Maintain GL account integrity, support chart-of-accounts and period tracking, perform approved ERP mapping, and prepare period-end support.

What you'll need

• Any graduation.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Finance processes: general ledger accounting, journals, accruals, prepayments, trial balance and financial statement fundamentals.
• US GAAP, SOX controls, segregation of duties, audit evidence and accounting-policy compliance.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Yardi or Oracle ERP.
• Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

• Location: Bengaluru.
• May require working in rotational shifts.
• Day-to-day interaction with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors; limited exposure with clients or Accenture management.
• Receives moderate-level instructions on daily tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments.
