Record to Report Ops Analyst

Overview

Record to Report Ops Analyst within Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, supporting financial consolidation and close operations by collecting operational data reports, analysing and reconciling transactions, and executing period-end close activities.

What you'll do

• Execute period-end close activities using the approved close calendar, task-management tool and responsibility matrix.
• Check interface execution, identify exceptions and post approved corrective entries.
• Complete subledger and GL close tasks and prepare balance-sheet and other financial reconciliations.
• Investigate aged open items, document resolution plans and support close prioritization and variance research.
• Update close tasks, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect the close timetable.
• Prepare accurate reconciliations with appropriate support, aging, explanations and action plans for open items.
• Investigate interface and reconciliation exceptions, post approved corrections and follow up with stakeholders to clear aged items.
• Maintain complete close and reconciliation evidence, support audits and contribute to close-cycle improvement against specific KPI targets.
• Implement general ledger processes including year-end closing and journalizing.
• Create and maintain ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets and journal entries, and run interface reports and close books of accounts.

What you'll need

• Any graduation.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Finance processes: end-to-end month-end close, subledger close, journal processing and balance-sheet reconciliation.
• Peak-close prioritization, variance research, open-item management and clear supporting commentary.

Nice to have

• Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation and close-management tools.
• Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

• Location: Bengaluru.
• This role may require working in rotational shifts.
• Role analyzes and solves lower-complexity problems, interacts day to day with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors, and may have limited exposure with clients or Accenture management.
• Receives moderate-level instructions on daily tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments.
