Overview

Record to Report Ops Analyst within Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, supporting financial consolidation and close operations through data analysis, reconciliation and ledger processes.

What you'll do

• Collect operational data reports, conduct analysis and reconcile transactions to help determine financial outcomes.
• Implement general ledger processes including year-end closing and journalizing.
• Create and maintain ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets and journal entries, designed to deliver a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry and reporting, dynamic allocations, and the management of commitments and expenditures.
• Run interface reports and perform book closing of accounts.
• Prepare journals, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged reconciling items.
• Prepare premium, claims, and reinsurance accounting support schedules.
• Support financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and Statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, internal controls, and audit requirements.

What you'll need

• Primary skill: Financial Consolidation & Close Operations.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant P&C Industry experience.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data with accuracy.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field, or any graduation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
