Record to Report Ops Associate

Overview

Work in the Finance Operations vertical to determine financial outcomes through operational data collection, analysis and transaction reconciliation, with a focus on Record to Report and balance sheet account reconciliations.

What you'll do

• Collect operational data reports, conduct analysis and reconcile transactions.
• Optimize working capital by providing real-time visibility and end-to-end management of revenue and cash flow.
• Streamline billing processes across the process from customer inquiry and sales order through delivery and invoicing.
• Solve queries related to cash applications and coordinate with customers.
• Apply unapplied cash and reconcile suspense accounts in cash application, processing transactions from payment receipt to finalization.
• Balance all balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other non-general-ledger source data to verify that accounts are in balance with the source system feeding the general ledger.
• Address differences that arise as reconciling items.
• Solve routine problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
• Work as an individual contributor within a team and a predetermined, focused scope of work.

What you'll need

• BCom qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Primary skill: Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations - P1.
• Secondary skill: Record To Report (R2R) - P4.
• Good understanding of cash applications.
