Record to Report Ops Senior Analyst

Overview

Senior analyst in Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, supporting the Record to Report function through period-end close, reconciliations and general ledger processes.

What you'll do

• Update close tasks, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect the close timetable.
• Prepare accurate reconciliations with appropriate support, aging, explanations and action plans for open items.
• Investigate interface and reconciliation exceptions, post approved corrections and follow up with stakeholders to clear aged items.
• Maintain complete close and reconciliation evidence, support audits and contribute to close cycle improvement specific KPI targets.
• Execute period-end close activities using the approved close calendar, task-management tool and responsibility matrix, including subledger and GL close tasks and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Implement general ledger processes including yearend closing and journalizing.
• Create and maintain ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets, and journal entries; run interface reports and perform close of books of accounts.

What you'll need

• Any graduation.
• 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Finance processes: end-to-end month-end close, subledger close, journal processing and balance-sheet reconciliation.
• Peak-close prioritization, variance research, open-item management and clear supporting commentary.

Nice to have

• Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation and close-management tools.
• Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

• Location: Bengaluru.
• Role may require working in rotational shifts.
• Minimal instruction on daily work and tasks; moderate instruction on new assignments.
• Day-to-day interactions with peers within Accenture, with some interaction with clients or Accenture management.
