Overview

Reddit Community Moderator (Online Education) to monitor and engage in relevant subreddits as a paid hourly contractor, working remotely from India.

What you'll do

• Monitor relevant subreddits for discussions related to the brand and products.
• Participate in Reddit discussions with helpful, informative responses where relevant.
• Build a credible, trusted presence through consistent, long-term engagement.
• Identify trending topics, pain points, and questions in online education.
• Track brand mentions on Reddit and respond to inquiries, reviews, and comments.
• Flag negative sentiment, misinformation, or competitor mentions for escalation.
• Submit daily activity logs and weekly performance summaries.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of proven experience engaging on Reddit or 2 years of community engagement on other platforms.
• Deep familiarity with Reddit’s ecosystem, including community norms and etiquette.
• Strong writing skills with a natural, conversational tone.
• Understanding of how community engagement supports brand visibility and AEO.
• Ability to maintain consistent engagement long term without direct supervision.
