Overview
The Reference Data & SSI Operations Analyst manages, validates and maintains strategic data across organizational systems. The role supports regulatory compliance and business operations, handles end-to-end setup of Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs), and collaborates with stakeholders to support data efficiency and risk management.
What you'll do
- Input and approve Standard Settlement Instructions in the downstream system.
- Follow processing guidelines (KOP) with diligence.
- Monitor mailboxes for processing and queries.
- Participate in employee engagement activities, team huddles and regular meetings.
- Complete mandatory training courses within the required time.
- Plan leaves and breaks in line with process deliverables and provide timely updates on HR-Workday.
- Meet the 100% productivity target and complete two-eye processing within the agreed SLA with 100% accuracy.
- Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual intervention.
- Find process gaps and ideas to remediate them.
- Interact with the Middle Office and/or clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of all life cycle events.
- Deliver all work to agreed production standards and SLA timeframes.
- Take responsibility for all process-related MI reports.
- Keep team management informed of case status and proactively identify and flag issues.
- Create EOD log reports for transactions processed daily.
- Ensure EOD controls.
- Support different time zones on a rotational basis and work flexible hours.
- Work under pressure and against challenging timescales.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
What you'll need
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 0.6 to 3 years of work experience in corporate Banking.
- Basic knowledge of Banking operations and financial products, including fixed income cash and derivatives, financial products and financial instruments including Futures, Options and Swaps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deliver all work to agreed production standards and SLA timeframes and be responsible for process-related MI reports.
- Ability to keep team management informed of case status and proactively identify and flag issues.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, and apply critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
