Regional Director, Forward Deployed Engineering - India

Overview

Lead and scale a Forward Deployed Engineering team serving strategic enterprise accounts across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Own customer engagement quality, technical delivery, team development, and partner enablement.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, opportunity qualification, and engagement scoping.
• Build proposals with time-boxed deliverables and clear ROI.
• Serve as executive technical sponsor for priority customer engagements.
• Ensure project quality through scoping, milestone tracking, technical standards, and handoffs.
• Escalate product gaps and recurring customer pain to Product and Engineering.
• Manage and coach FDEs through complex builds and delivery decisions.
• Build playbooks and scale the partner FDE track.

What you'll need

• 8+ years leading technical teams that build and ship production software.
• Experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar function.
• Software development and coding experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building and owning AI-native production workflows.
• Experience diagnosing complex enterprise engineering environments and scoping engagements.
• Experience building and scaling IC-level technical teams.
