Regional Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager

Overview

Lead regional indirect procurement sourcing across multiple spend categories, including bid strategy, competitive tendering, contracting, and change-order negotiations.

What you'll do

• Develop sourcing and tendering strategies aligned to project schedules and design maturity.
• Run end-to-end competitive bids (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), manage bidder communications, chair bid walks, and ensure clear scope and commercial terms.
• Perform bid analysis and leveling (scope, inclusions/exclusions, assumptions, schedule impacts) with relevant stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contracting, including pricing structure, payment terms, retention, and key risk clauses with Legal coordination.
• Support cost estimating/cost modeling, should-cost reviews, and value engineering to improve total installed cost.
• Support contract administration activities such as change order evaluation and claims avoidance.
• Track procurement milestones and savings/value metrics and provide status reporting.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of procurement experience supporting categories including capital equipment, precision engineered fixtures, and Chemicals/related services.
• Experience with procurement/estimating/sourcing, including competitive bidding, costing, and contract negotiation for capital projects.
• Strong category knowledge in bid leveling, scope analysis, pricing structures, and risk/claim awareness within indirect categories.
• Hands-on support for contract negotiation and drafting (e.g., GC/CM agreements, trade contracts, MSAs/SOWs, change orders).
• Strong analytical skills for cost breakdown review and estimate vs. bid vs. awarded value reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Excel-based bid leveling, cost models, and document control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
