Overview

Analyst I for Procurement Intelligence, based in Ahmedabad, supporting procurement-wide cost modeling through market, competitor, and trend research to inform executive decisions.

What you'll do

• Perform quantitative and qualitative research into consumers, competitors, and the marketplace.
• Mine the web using search engines and web analytics to extract insights from published articles.
• Conduct research on industry trends, supplier markets, commodity pricing, and geopolitical factors affecting supply and demand.
• Analyze data to identify market trends and relevant demographics.
• Use software and statistical techniques to evaluate market data.
• Provide analytical support for sourcing strategies and supplier identification/selection.
• Build reports and analytics with procurement teams and perform spend/total cost/should-cost analyses.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of working experience in market intelligence, procurement analytics, financial analysis, or competitive benchmarking.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related functions (or equivalent education/experience).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, dataset modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise resource planning systems.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Stakeholder management across multiple functions and zones.
