Sourcing Associate

Overview

The Sourcing Associate is responsible for sourcing goods and services across Indirect and Commercial Indirect business categories, supporting sourcing execution through contracts, supplier research, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Execute RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes for defined indirect categories under Sourcing Lead guidance.
• Support the source-to-contract process with market research, spend analysis, proposal evaluation, and contract management.
• Lead supplier negotiations to drive value and competitive advantage.
• Prepare sourcing documentation including scope of work, supplier questionnaires, evaluation criteria, and tender packages.
• Manage supplier communication during sourcing events, including coordinating Q&A and maintaining event trackers in SAP Ariba.
• Conduct supplier market research and gather capability, compliance, and pricing information.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience (preferably in lifesciences, professional services, or marketing/commercial).
• Exposure to RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluation (preferred).
• Understanding of source-to-contract processes, procurement guidelines, and supplier management principles.
• Proficiency with eSourcing tools such as SAP Ariba (preferred) and strong data skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to analyze supplier proposals and prepare structured evaluation summaries with attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
