Regulatory Control Associate, AVP

Overview

Regulatory Control Associate role at associate vice president level, providing assurance for regulatory compliance and monitoring, and preparing, verifying and submitting regulatory reports.

What you'll do

• Provide assurance for regulatory compliance and monitoring.
• Make sure home and host regulatory outputs are produced on an accurate and timely basis, including calculating and posting all planned and ad hoc adjustments to the agreed timelines.
• Maintain and enhance interfaces and processes within regulatory reporting.
• Prepare management reporting.
• Produce and review MI packs, including business commentary for stakeholder signoffs.
• Contribute to the production of RWAs in accordance with Basel rules and the bank's framework of RWAs.
• Drive engagement surveys in your business area, and take ownership for the design and delivery of necessary action plans to enhance engagement levels.

What you'll need

• CA, M.Com or MBA qualification.
• Significant experience in financial services in a finance role.
• Broad understanding of market dynamics, products and the associated risks in a market and credit domain.
• Experience working with a financial institution or consulting firm in regulatory reporting.
• Experience in Basel II, Basel III and COREP.
• Prior regulatory submissions experience.
• At least twelve years of experience with RWA and capital reporting in global banks.
• Good understanding of derivative products, including concepts such as notional and MTM, counterparty credit risk, securitisation, market risk and value at risk.
• Knowledge of SAS, PRM or FRM.
• Clear understanding of B3.1 Basel rules and experience working in UAT and debit environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
