Release Engineer

Overview

Support and manage software releases, deployment activities, and production operations, ensuring system reliability and availability, as part of a 24x7 support model with global teams.

What you'll do

• Manage software releases and deployment activities across multiple environments.
• Support production operations and ensure system reliability and availability.
• Participate in the 24x7 support model and collaborate with global teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or related roles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of software release and deployment processes.
• Basic to intermediate experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar).
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 support/on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube.

• Requires participation in a 24x7 support model and on-call rotation.
