Overview

Research Analyst role at Financial Technology Partners focused on in-depth research and analysis of FinTech and financial sectors, covering key companies, people, and transactions.

What you'll do

• Track and analyze key FinTech sectors, companies, and major M&A and capital-raising transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive company profiling and track major developments in the focused industry.
• Research global M&A activity, IPOs, and financing transactions.
• Profile private equity and investment firms.
• Profile key individuals, including executives and board members, and gather information on their professional backgrounds, roles, and contributions to the company.
• Manage and maintain financial and company databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Deliver assigned Key Result Areas (KRAs) within the specified time frame and with 100% accuracy.

What you'll need

• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• 1 to 3 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interest in finance, research, and FinTech.
• Excellent research and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a drive for excellence.
• Must be an India-based candidate; no US-based candidates.
• B.Com (Hons.), BBA (Finance), or MBA (Finance).
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, able to prepare high-impact materials.
• Participates effectively in both internal and external meetings.
• Maturity and poise to work directly with client executives.
• Team player who can contribute to building a positive team spirit, keeps commitments, inspires trust, works with integrity and ethically, and upholds firm values.
• Ability to perform under pressure, amid tight deadlines; can effectively prioritize and plan.
• Collaborative across teams and levels, both internally and externally.
• Understands coaching for long-term development of self and others.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial sectors, particularly FinTech, M&A, and capital markets.
