Research Associate I

Overview

Research Associate I role supporting the Formulation ARD team with technical and operational activities for parenteral formulation development.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on support to formulation development in parenteral formulations.
• Conduct literature searches and compile consolidated reports for product/project areas.
• Define, organize, plan, and execute QbD-based experiments for pharmaceutical injectables.
• Analyze experimental outcomes and present findings to the team for next actions.
• Engage in root cause analysis for new product development and sustaining projects under supervision.
• Support scale-up and plant activities for technology transfer of injectable products.
• Document laboratory work per GDP and follow Data Integrity/ALCOA guidelines and quality/EHS&S procedures.

What you'll need

• Ability to define and execute QbD-based experiments for pharmaceutical injectables.
• Ability to analyze experimental outcomes and present data to the team.
• Ability to propose solutions to research problems based on understanding.
• Understanding of the manufacturing process to assess product quality impact under supervision.
• Ability to document laboratory work following Baxter’s GDP and Good Documentation Practices.
• Ability to work according to Data Integrity and ALCOA guidelines.
• Ability to provide support for calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
