Retail Sales Specialist

Overview

Retail Sales Specialist for ABB India's Electrification Business, Smart Building Low Voltage Products, responsible for low-voltage product sales in Ranchi and surrounding areas.

What you'll do

• Prepare and manage sales plans using company tools, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement recovery plans to address potential order shortfalls.
• Generate timely offers and convert orders through effective lead management and opportunity funnel tracking in SFDC.
• Ensure agreed sales volumes and profitable growth by executing an effective and disciplined sales process.
• Build strong customer relationships to understand needs, deliver end-to-end solutions, and ensure a positive sales experience.
• Manage timely collection of payments and liabilities.
• Execute efficient marketing activities to communicate value propositions.
• Identify, develop, and capitalize on new market opportunities through cross-functional collaboration.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while addressing specific customer needs and resolving issues effectively.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities to grow market share and revenue.
• Prepare and submit MIS and sales reports as required, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

What you'll need

• Graduation / MBA (Sales & Marketing).
• Minimum 7-8 years of overall sales experience, including 3-5 years in retail sales.
• Demonstrated experience in selling to distributors and retailers.
• Demonstrate structured planning, reporting discipline, and alignment with organizational processes.
