Revit Civil & Structural Designer

Overview

Revit Civil & Structural Designer responsible for developing civil and structural designs, Revit models, drawings and engineering documentation for multidisciplinary projects.

What you'll do

• Prepare 3D Revit models, layouts, study drawings and construction drawings.
• Develop structural, civil and plant design concepts, sketches and building layouts.
• Prepare or review engineering studies, reports, specifications and bills of quantities.
• Review drawings and vendor documentation for project compliance.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary checks and resolve technical issues across engineering disciplines.
• Perform material quantity take-offs and prepare material requisitions.
• Guide and mentor lower-classification designers.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of experience in multidisciplinary Mining & Metallurgy, Chemical or Petrochemical projects.
• Engineering degree, engineering diploma or ITI qualification.
• Advanced Revit skills for plant design and federated discipline models.
• Proficiency in structural and civil design and development.
• Knowledge of international structural and civil design codes and standards.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks, EDMS and standard codes.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Civil 3D experience.
