Sales Executive - Soft Tissue Implants

Overview

Drive growth for Medtronic's Soft Tissue Implants portfolio across a defined Kolkata territory. The role combines healthcare sales with clinical support, including surgical case coverage, product education, and account development.

What you'll do

• Achieve territory sales and revenue targets for sutures and hernia solutions.
• Execute territory business plans across existing and new healthcare accounts.
• Provide operating room support and surgical case coverage.
• Deliver product demonstrations, therapy education, and in-service training.
• Build relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, purchasing teams, and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for account penetration, competitive conversions, and referrals.
• Support product evaluations, committee reviews, and hospital approval processes.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of experience.
• Alternatively, an associate's degree and 2+ years of experience.
• Alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to support sales and clinical engagement across healthcare accounts.
• Ability to comply with company policies, quality standards, engagement requirements, and industry regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting surgeons in operating rooms or providing procedural case coverage.
• Knowledge of implantable medical devices or soft tissue repair products.
• Experience with hospital sales processes and purchasing committees.
• Track record of growing market share and converting competitive business.
• Experience delivering clinical education and customer training.
