Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead

Overview

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Lead responsible for defining the target SFCC architecture and delivering technical solutions for roadmap initiatives.

What you'll do

• Define and own target SFCC architecture including cartridges, SFRA controllers/pipelines, and OCAPI/SCAPI usage.
• Translate roadmap items into technical solution designs (e.g., checkout revamp, hyper-personalization, PLP/PDP review, cross-border commerce).
• Lead and review development delivered by SFRA and PWA/composable developers and enforce coding standards, performance, and security best practices.
• Own integration design between SFCC and services/providers (PSP, tax/fraud, PIM, DAM, OMS/ERP, and search) via the middleware layer.
• Produce and validate technical estimates and impact analyses for projects, including performance, security, and multi-locale/cross-border considerations.
• Own environment strategy including sandbox/staging management, release pipelines, and performance/monitoring tooling.
• Provide technical leadership during peak trading events and mentor developers.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on architecture and development experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA and composable/headless storefronts, PWA Kit or equivalent).
• Expert-level JavaScript/Node.js, ISML templating, cartridge architecture, and OCAPI/SCAPI.
• Experience designing integrations with PSPs, tax/fraud services, PIM/DAM, and OMS/ERP systems via middleware.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce performance, SEO, and security best practices in a high-traffic, revenue-critical context.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing release/deployment processes.
• Excellent English communication skills (French or Italian advantage).
