Overview
Join the Customer Applications team as a Salesforce Developer specializing in CPQ and Revenue Cloud. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design scalable solutions, deliver features, and streamline processes for evolving business requirements.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, enhance, deploy, and support Quote-to-Cash solutions leveraging Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud.
- Provide L3 production support for the Salesforce platform, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with functional teams across Sales Operations, IT, Partner Programs, and Enterprise Services to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in and lead code reviews to enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and UAT test plans.
- Communicate proactively with team members and stakeholders throughout development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide accurate effort estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and identify opportunities to leverage new features and capabilities.
- Maintain technical documentation for solutions, configurations, and processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of overall software development experience, with 2+ years focused on Salesforce CPQ application development and RCA experience.
- End-to-end Quote-to-Cash implementation experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, formerly Salesforce CPQ & Billing.
- Deep working knowledge of the Lead-to-Cash / Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, including products, price books, catalog management, quoting, approvals, amendments, renewals, orders, handoff to billing, and revenue recognition.
- Expert-level proficiency in product configuration and bundles, complex pricing rules and discount schedules, Product Filtering/Search Plugins and Guided Selling, Quote Configurator Plugins and Advanced Approvals, and Salesforce CPQ and RCA APIs.
- Strong understanding of CPQ sales motions including subscription-based licensing, various discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming, and renewals.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
- Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP) integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Builder (Cloud Flow Designer), Triggers, and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, objects, and platform architecture.
- Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments, such as Salesforce DX, Copado, or Gearset.
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
- Salesforce Revenue Cloud Consultant or equivalent Revenue Cloud certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong desire to continuously learn and apply emerging technologies to solve business problems.
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
Nice to have
- Hands-on Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) project delivery experience.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations in a Quote-to-Cash context.
- Experience in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
