Overview
Design, build, test, and support Salesforce solutions that enable quoting, contracting, billing integrations, service operations, and scalable business processes. The role focuses on Quote-to-Cash, Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, the broader Salesforce platform, and AI-native delivery practices.
What you'll do
- Design, build, test, and support Salesforce solutions.
- Enable quoting, contracting, billing integrations, service operations, and scalable business processes.
- Customize and extend CPQ processes using Apex, Flows, validation rules, custom objects, integrations, and automation.
- Support integrations with billing or finance systems such as NetSuite SuiteBilling, ZoneCo, or similar platforms.
- Build scalable Salesforce solutions from functional and technical requirements.
- Use LLM-assisted development, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, AI-assisted documentation, and AI-supported configuration and code generation.
- Use conversational development workflows to generate, refine, test, debug, and explain Apex, Flow logic, LWC, integrations, APIs, and solution prototypes.
- Use AI tools responsibly while maintaining engineering discipline, code quality, security, testing standards, and platform best practices.
- Implement and configure Salesforce Core, including Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Develop and configure Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, triggers, custom objects, validation rules, approval processes, permissions, reports, and dashboards.
- Apply Salesforce security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, data model design, governor limits, deployment processes, and platform automation.
- Work with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, platform events, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, and data synchronization patterns.
- Work with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar tools.
- Use version control, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, sandbox management, metadata deployments, and release management.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Translate business requirements and solution designs into high-quality technical deliverables.
- Work with architects, consultants, business users, QA teams, and project managers.
- Explain technical options, constraints, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply a problem-solving mindset with attention to quality, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience, with strong hands-on development and implementation experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Quote-to-Cash, Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, and the broader Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on development experience with CPQ solutions such as Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce Revenue, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle, including quoting, pricing, approvals, contracting, amendments, renewals, and billing handoff.
- Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Salesforce APIs, and integration development.
- Project implementation experience on Salesforce Core, including Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, data model design, governor limits, deployment processes, and platform automation.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, platform events, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, and data synchronization patterns.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar tools.
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, sandbox management, metadata deployments, and release management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements and solution designs into high-quality technical deliverables.
- Ability to explain technical options, constraints, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Agentforce Revenue.
- Knowledge of PSA capabilities.
- Experience mentoring junior developers.
- Salesforce certifications preferred, such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect is a plus but not required.
