Salesforce Engineer II

Overview

Salesforce Engineer II role on the CRM Technology team, developing, enhancing, integrating and supporting Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Agentforce, OmniStudio and the Salesforce Platform.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), OmniStudio and the Salesforce Platform.
• Develop Salesforce applications and features using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, Platform Events and Salesforce APIs.
• Build digital experiences and guided user journeys using OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors and Integration Procedures.
• Develop enterprise integrations using REST APIs and Platform Events, applying OAuth and JWT security protocols to enable secure integration with AWS services, backend microservices and cloud platforms.
• Support implementation and enhancement of Data Cloud and Agentforce capabilities where applicable.
• Configure and customize Salesforce solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
• Participate in Salesforce deployments and release management using Copado, Git, Salesforce DX and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis and provide production support.
• Optimize application performance, security, data quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Follow established Salesforce development standards, coding best practices and governance processes.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, AI innovations and industry best practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions.
• Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, SOQL, SOSL and Salesforce Platform development.
• Experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, OAuth, JWT Authentication and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools such as Copado, Git, Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchies and governance.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, identity resolution, audience segmentation, unified customer profiles and Customer 360 capabilities.
• Experience with Agentforce, Salesforce AI, Prompt Builder, Copilot, AI Agents or Generative AI solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with AWS services and cloud-native applications.
• Experience working within Financial Services, Wealth Management or Advisor Platforms.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and modern cloud integration patterns.
• Exposure to AI-driven customer engagement and personalization solutions.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II.
• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Consultant.
• Salesforce Agentforce Specialist.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad.
• Ability to work peak, off-peak, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Ability to manage through shift changes and transition open and unresolved issues effectively.
