Salesforce Technical Architect, AI and Agentforce

Overview

As a Technical Architect, AI & Agentforce, you will build Agentforce-powered experiences, deliver business value to clients, lead technical solution design across Agentforce, Data 360, and the Salesforce platform, and guide delivery teams from design through deployment. You will work with the AI team and customers to shape solutions through production, with possible work on AWS and GCP.

What you'll do

• Lead and own complete technical solution design, including agent topics, instructions, actions with corresponding automation/code, deployment methods, and supporting data structures.
• Collaborate with customers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, Designers, and teammates to translate business needs into well-architected solutions.
• Oversee and contribute to project stages from initial design through development, testing, and final deployment.
• Explore the limits of AI agents and find novel solutions to drive business outcomes.
• Design scalable and secure data architectures on Salesforce Data 360, including DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution strategies, and real-time data activation patterns.
• Establish best practices for ingesting data into Salesforce and Data 360 at scale for agentic solutions.
• Design grounding strategies for agents using unstructured DMOs, retrievers, and search indexes.
• Define integration patterns between Salesforce and third-party systems.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring, and set standards for Apex, LWC, and Agentforce development.
• Define testing and evaluation approaches for agents, including guardrails and Einstein Trust Layer considerations.
• Contribute to reusable assets that accelerate delivery and improve quality and consistency.
• Follow and understand new product features and technical capabilities across Salesforce, Anthropic Claude, and other platforms.
• Leverage AI tools and development assistants to maximize design and delivery efficiency and speed.
• Acquire and maintain all applicable Salesforce certifications.
• Travel up to 25% for customer projects and company events.
• Be a NeuraFlash and Accenture evangelist in the Salesforce community and help cultivate a company culture of success, personal achievement, and fun.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in application and software development.
• 4+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development or technical architecture role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Apex and JavaScript, with exposure or working knowledge of modern coding languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience developing Salesforce technologies including Flows, Lightning Web Components, or Visualforce.
• Experience designing and building Agentforce agents, workflows, and automations.
• Experience designing solutions on Salesforce Data 360.
• Experience designing Salesforce integrations with third-party systems via REST APIs.
• Understanding of front-end web development principles and HTML/CSS.
• Experience using source control and branching/pull request strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD solutions and DevOps principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical details to audiences from developers to customer executives.
• Must possess and maintain a valid passport while employed.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI Systems and Generative AI capabilities.
• Experience with Data 360 capabilities, including unstructured DMOs, retrievers, search indexes, RAG, and identity resolution.
• Experience with Agentforce Agent Script (next gen authoring).
• Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Application or System Architect, or Claude Certified Architect.
• Prior consulting or professional services delivery experience, including leading technical workstreams on customer engagements.
• Experience across additional Salesforce Clouds, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
• Understanding of Salesforce's Enhanced Chat and Omni-channel.
• Experience with Amazon Connect or other telephony platforms.
• Experience designing solutions on AWS or GCP, including AWS Lambda functions.
• Proficiency using Claude Code or similar AI coding Agents.

Details

• Remote role in India, limited to Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Noida, or Pune.
• Travel commitment is up to 25% for customer projects and company events.
• The interview process includes a 30-minute recruiter phone screen, a 45-minute peer video interview, a 60-minute panel video interview with a real-time exercise, and a 45-minute leadership video interview.
