SAP Authorization and Security Specialist

Overview

SAP Authorization and Security Specialist supporting SAP S/4HANA conversion/upgrade and rollout activities from a security perspective.

What you'll do

• Perform security impact assessment, role remediation, and authorization optimization for S/4HANA conversion.
• Analyze existing SAP ECC roles/authorizations and redesign/remediate roles to align with S/4HANA authorization concepts.
• Design and adapt roles for new company codes, plants, sales organizations, or geographic regions while maintaining global security standards.
• Maintain derived and composite roles using PFCG and review/update SU24 authorization defaults, objects, and role menus.
• Implement and support SAP Fiori security, including catalogs, spaces/pages, business roles, and OData service authorization.
• Conduct SoD risk analysis and remediate access conflicts using SAP GRC Access Control, including ARA, ARM, and EAM.

What you'll need

• Experience of 4–6 years.
• Support authorization analysis and role redesign between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to configure and support SAP GRC Access Control modules (ARA, ARM, EAM).
• Experience with SU24 authorization defaults, authorization objects, and role menus.
• Knowledge of SAP Identity services: IAS (auth policy, federation, SSO) and IPS (user/role provisioning).
• Familiarity with SAP BTP security administration, including role collections and trust setup with IAS.
