Overview
Design and optimize digital services supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital solutions, analyze system performance, and implement improvements.
What you'll do
- Support Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Business Process Owners, key users, and project teams in maintaining SAP EWM solutions aligned to the global template and deploying the global S/4HANA implementation locally.
- Provide expert functional support for Inbound/Outbound Processing, RF Framework, Warehouse Task/Order management, Internal Warehouse Movements, Physical Inventory, and Yard Management.
- Manage specialized EWM functions including Slotting, Wave Management, and Production Integration.
- Provide end-to-end functional support in an AMS environment, including incident management, service requests, defect resolution, and root cause analysis in line with agreed service levels.
- Conduct impact analysis and testing for warehouse-specific changes and enhancements.
- Support EWM processes integrated with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Reporting domains.
- Monitor warehouse system performance, operational issues, and user feedback to support stable and efficient day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Support peak season fulfilment, inventory counting, and year-end close, ensuring continuity and timely issue resolution.
- Provide user support, functional guidance, and knowledge sharing to enable consistent adoption of EWM best practices.
- Operate independently within the assigned functional scope and deliver with limited supervision.
- Resolve moderately complex functional issues across integrated EWM processes.
- Contribute to support, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Significant hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation and/or support.
- Strong functional understanding of EWM-specific processes including Deconsolidation, Kitting, Shipping Cockpit, and Mobile Data Entry (RF).
- Experience working in a global application maintenance support or production support environment, including stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in EWM system enhancements, incident resolution, problem management, testing, and delivery of supportable business solutions.
- Experience supporting critical warehouse operations, including period-end inventory reconciliations.
- Good understanding of integration points with adjacent business domains and SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI).
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum ways of working and service management practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, complex, and highly integrated business environment.
Nice to have
- SAP certification in EWM is highly advantageous.
- Good knowledge of SAP EWM functional processes and incident management practices.
