SAP FICO Consultant

Overview

The SAP FICO Consultant supports a stable SAP S/4 HANA Finance production environment and resolves complex functional issues. The role designs and implements solutions across Finance and Procurement functions while coordinating with business and technical teams.

What you'll do

• Understand business requirements and design SAP functional solutions.
• Configure and modify S/4 HANA FICO solutions across GL, AP, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, VAT, Cash Management and Controlling.
• Create functional specifications with Business Analysts, Application Owners and Solution Architects.
• Develop business-facing documentation, including user manuals and solution summaries.
• Design interfaces between S/4 and other systems using IDOCs and CPI integration.
• Provide functional expertise and support to end users.
• Resolve UAT and other functional issues with application developers.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of experience in SAP and related technologies, including SAP R/3 and S/4 HANA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or an IT-related discipline, or equivalent.
• Experience on at least two S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in S/4 HANA Finance or FICO configuration.
• Knowledge of FI/CO integration with MDG, Concur and Ariba.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and solve business problems.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ABAP.
• S/4 HANA Finance or SAP FICO certification.
