Overview
The SAP Project Manager – Supply Chain leads end-to-end SAP Supply Chain and Operations project delivery in global environments, from blueprint through hypercare.
What you'll do
- Drive end-to-end project delivery across SAP Supply Chain and Operations modules, including SAP SD, IBP, PP/DS, MM, WM, EWM, and TM, from blueprint to hypercare.
- Own project financials, tracking budgets of up to 5 million euros, resource costs, vendor spend, and accurate financial forecasting.
- Plan and manage project resource capacity across internal teams, specialized SAP functional and technical streams, and System Integrators.
- Ensure external deliverables align with the global template and contractual commitments.
- Establish structured project governance and lead steering committees.
- Drive alignment on scope, timelines, and strategic outcomes across Business and IT leadership.
- Ensure clear ownership, proactive RAID mitigation, and effective decision-making.
- Deliver initiatives in alignment with global guidelines and core templates.
- Maintain reporting standards to navigate international approval steps.
- Drive cross-stream readiness for testing, cutover, and operational transition to support a successful go-live.
- Contribute to strategic SAP transformations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure local implementations align with the broader long-term S/4HANA global roadmap.
- Influence and navigate relationships with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and Tier-1 implementation partners.
- Drive timely decision-making through proactive management of risks, complex dependencies, escalations, and resource planning across multiple concurrent workstreams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive track record as an IT/SAP Project Manager leading end-to-end SAP Supply Chain implementation, rollout, or migration projects within global environments.
- Experience managing projects of up to one million euros.
- Strong grasp of modern project delivery methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, hybrid, and traditional Waterfall.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Proven capability to operate with high autonomy as a project lead and take absolute end-to-end accountability for SAP Supply Chain delivery within complex, global environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and navigate relationships with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and Tier-1 implementation partners.
- Track record of driving timely decision-making through proactive management of risks, complex dependencies, escalations, and resource planning across multiple concurrent workstreams.
Nice to have
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Project Management.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese.
