SAP RISE SAP Basis Administrator

Overview

Provide SAP Basis administration and 24x7 production support for RISE with SAP environments, covering monitoring, incident resolution, outage recovery, and service operations.

What you'll do

• Monitor SAP systems, databases, interfaces, and operational dashboards.
• Analyze alerts and perform proactive health checks.
• Resolve L1/L2 Basis incidents within SLA commitments.
• Support major incidents, outages, restoration activities, and root cause analysis.
• Administer user locks, spool issues, background jobs, transports, system maintenance, and HANA monitoring.
• Validate changes and coordinate transport movements across landscapes.
• Maintain tickets, operational documentation, reports, and service review inputs.

What you'll need

• 3–8 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience in 24x7 production support environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Basis administration across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager.
• Experience with SAP HANA administration, monitoring, TMS, background jobs, spool administration, and performance troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of RISE with SAP operating models, managed cloud environments, and support boundaries.
• Experience with incident, problem, change, major incident, and SLA-driven operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run.
• Exposure to RISE with SAP operations.
• Experience with managed service providers or AMS/MSM engagements.
• Certifications in SAP System Administration, SAP HANA Administration, or ITIL Foundation.
