SAP SAC Consultant

Overview

Design, configure and support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning solutions that connect finance and business teams with SAP and non-SAP data sources.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyze business requirements for planning and budgeting processes.
• Design SAC Planning models, stories, and data actions to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Integrate SAC with SAP and non-SAP data sources (e.g., S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BPC).
• Configure SAC planning functionalities including dimensions, measures, hierarchies, and versions.
• Develop advanced calculations, allocations, and predictive forecasting features in SAC.
• Optimize planning models for performance and scalability.
• Work with finance, operations, and business teams to translate business needs into SAC solutions.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues.
• Recommend improvements and innovations leveraging SAC features and roadmap.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of planning processes (FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation).
• Experience in data modeling, data actions, allocations, and predictive capabilities in SAC.
• Knowledge of integration with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or BPC.
• Excellent understanding of financial planning & analysis processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• 3–7 years of relevant SAP experience, with at least 2 years in SAC Planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
