Overview
SAS Commissioning Engineer for the GA Substation Automation team, supporting site testing and commissioning for SCADA systems and configuring substation automation products and communication protocols.
What you'll do
- Support testing and commissioning activities for SCADA systems.
- Configure Substation Automation products including MicroSCADA family and related tools.
- Handle commissioning for medium to high complex substation automation projects.
- Ensure commissioning activities meet contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage commissioning to deliver quality, timely timelines, and targeted costs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and interact with counterparts to clarify queries.
- Participate in training and contribute to continuous improvement of project processes.
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years and up to 5 years of experience.
- B.E or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience with MicroSCADA family products (SYS600, SYS600C, Historian, SDM600, DMS600).
- Exposure to SYS600 engineering tools (View builder and Display builder).
- Knowledge of communication protocols including IEC61850, IEC101, IC104, and Modbus.
- Proficiency with Hitachi Energy software tools: MicroSCADA, RTUtil, IET600, ITT600, PCM600.
- Willingness to travel extensively for site testing and commissioning.
