Mechanical Engineer – PHE & HVAC (Project Supervision/Construction Management)

Overview

Mechanical Engineer overseeing on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems, with responsibility for safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

What you'll do

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems on-site.
• Ensure mechanical works follow approved designs, specifications, and project schedules.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors for safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Monitor daily site activities and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Review and interpret mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for PHE and HVAC.
• Ensure integration of mechanical systems with electrical and civil works.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Certification in HVAC or PHE systems (e.g., LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager, or equivalent).
• Experience managing mechanical systems in live environments such as operational airports or malls.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
