SDET Analyst

Overview

SDET Analyst responsible for performing application development and testing across the software development lifecycle, with a focus on continuous quality through automation.

What you'll do

• Participate in software development lifecycle activities to produce quality code.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks, suites, and scripts.
• Conduct performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing.
• Write and execute white-box tests at unit and component levels.
• Integrate automated test suites with continuous integration tools for frequent execution.
• Develop test plans and test cases with stakeholders for execution and verification.
• Report and track defects and participate in root cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Professional experience with software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
• Agile (including Scrum, Kanban) and testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
• Programming knowledge in languages including Java, C#, Perl, Python, Groovy, or SQL.
• Testing tools knowledge including continuous integration and service virtualization.
• Experience applying automation to testing activities including compliance such as payment card industry and security-related compliance.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience developing automated testing strategies in a variety of environments and frameworks.
