Software Quality Engineer I (SDET)

Overview

Software Quality Engineer I (SDET) to design, implement, and scale test automation and quality engineering practices for enterprise applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API, backend, and system-level testing.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and reporting.
• Develop reusable test data frameworks to support efficient test execution.
• Ensure high-quality releases via continuous validation and feedback.
• Support performance and load testing using standard tools and validate system behavior.
• Work in Agile/SAFe teams and collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of experience in software testing, automation, or quality engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6, Gatling).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure).
• Basic exposure to AI-assisted testing or intelligent automation tools.
