Software Quality Engineer – Automation & AI

Overview

Software Quality Engineer responsible for testing and qualifying software products while developing automation and AI-enabled tools to improve quality engineering workflows.

What you'll do

• Qualify software products and features through functional, regression, performance, reliability, and system-level testing.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies.
• Analyze test results and publish qualification reports, recommendations, training materials, and BKMs.
• Develop automated test solutions, frameworks, and tools.
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including reviews, deployment, troubleshooting, and customer support.
• Develop AI-enabled utilities and productivity tools using LLMs, AI agents, and modern AI frameworks.
• Support AI adoption and use data analytics to improve quality insights and root cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience, or bachelor's degree with 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, C++, or Java.
• Experience with software testing and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of quality engineering methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI agents, or AI application development.

• Location: Chennai, India.
• Travel to customer fabrication facilities may be required.
