Software Engineer III, In Test

Overview

Software Engineer III (In Test) develops and establishes QA standards for IT services, with an emphasis on test and tooling automation in Mitratech’s SaaS applications.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test scripts and test plans for software changes.
• Perform integrated software testing before and after releases.
• Track and report daily work completed.
• Work with software developers to convey issues and support timely resolution.
• Document, track, retest, and communicate test results.
• Review release notes and documentation for accuracy.
• Write and maintain test automation scripts.

What you'll need

• 5-7+ years of commercial development experience.
• Extensive automated testing experience (required).
• Testing tools experience with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, JMeter, Postman, and TestRail.
• Experience across multiple test types (e.g., regression, smoke, systems, integration, performance, load, and UAT).
• Ability to author, review, and execute manual/ad hoc/exploratory test cases.
• SQL, NoSQL, and relational database concepts knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and unit testing with mock frameworks (XUnit, NUnit, Moq, NSubstitute).
