Security Analyst

Overview

Join Morningstar's new Security Operations Center team to monitor, analyze and respond to cyber threats and incidents that protect the company's infrastructure, data and people.

What you'll do

• Provide 24x7 monitoring operations for security alerts
• Detect, analyze, report and respond to cyber security events and incidents using a combination of technology solutions and processes
• Review and escalate alerts
• Examine and operationalize new adversary detection methods to defend Morningstar
• Assess the security impact of security alerts and traffic anomalies to identify malicious actions
• Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders

What you'll need

• A bachelor's degree and 2-3+ years' experience in Information Security
• Excellent communication skills
• An understanding of cyber security fundamentals
• Interest in keeping up with the latest security trends
• Experience with security tools
• Hands-on experience with any EDR solution
• Good understanding of endpoint security alert investigations

Nice to have

• Add-on certification such as Security+, CompTIA+ or Splunk

• Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai (based in the Mumbai office)
• Work mode: hybrid, 4 days working from the office
• Shift: rotational shift
• Team: 24x7 monitoring coverage
