Security Engineer (Enterprise)

Overview

Enterprise Security Engineer responsible for securing JioStar’s enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networks, endpoints, applications, and data against evolving cyber threats.

What you'll do

• Assess and strengthen the enterprise security posture across infrastructure, cloud, networks, endpoints, applications, and operating systems.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability assessments, configuration reviews, and security testing.
• Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities and provide remediation and risk-reduction recommendations.
• Support threat modeling and develop threat scenarios to identify potential attack paths.
• Drive vulnerability management, including prioritization, remediation tracking, validation, and reporting.
• Investigate security incidents with technical analysis, root-cause identification, and remediation recommendations.
• Automate repetitive security processes to improve efficiency and scalability of security operations.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts across infrastructure, network, cloud, endpoint, and IAM.
• Experience conducting security assessments across enterprise environments including cloud, networks, applications, OS, and endpoints.
• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, attack techniques, misconfigurations, and exploitation methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with security tools for vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, configuration assessment, threat detection, monitoring, and validation.
• Good understanding of enterprise network architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, segmentation).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud security controls/architectures.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts including authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, and privileged access.
