Security Engineer

Overview

Security Engineer responsible for engineering and automating security solutions, protecting customers and colleagues, and reducing operational overhead across cloud and identity environments.

What you'll do

• Operate as a Security team subject matter expert with strategic partners.
• Investigate security incidents and provide information to key control points.
• Improve threat intelligence capabilities against industry best practices.
• Evaluate and support deployment of multi-regional security solutions.
• Review security controls, assess their effectiveness, and implement improvements.
• Design, pilot, and deploy security solutions across multivendor cloud environments.
• Lead assigned security projects and ensure high-quality delivery.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security engineering, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience managing Azure Firewall, NSG, DDoS Protection, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and PIM.
• Understanding of cloud security governance, risk management, and ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2 frameworks.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Experience in threat hunting, threat intelligence, incident investigation, and remediation.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and securing CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with security automation and orchestration.
• Exposure to Microsoft Security Copilot or Microsoft Copilot for Security.
• Experience using AI-driven threat hunting and incident investigation capabilities.
