Overview
Security Engineer for Product and Production Infrastructure, securing cloud-native products and CI/CD/production environments.
What you'll do
- Lead threat modeling and security reviews across products and cloud infrastructure.
- Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to enable “shift left”.
- Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation with preventative controls across the software supply chain.
- Extend detection and response capabilities by identifying malicious activity, triaging alerts, and investigating incidents.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
- Experience with AWS cloud security (or equivalent Azure/GCP experience with some AWS).
- Experience with Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS) and container security principles.
- Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
- Experience leading security reviews and threat modeling, translating findings into security controls.
- Practical web application security knowledge (e.g., OWASP Top-10).
- Hands-on IaC experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi.
- Automation/tooling development experience with Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with remote, globally distributed teams.
- Experience in organizations that develop software and/or operate managed infrastructure for customers.
- Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
