Security Engineer - Product

Overview

Security Engineer for Product and Production Infrastructure, securing cloud-native products and CI/CD/production environments.

What you'll do

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews across products and cloud infrastructure.
• Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to enable “shift left”.
• Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation with preventative controls across the software supply chain.
• Extend detection and response capabilities by identifying malicious activity, triaging alerts, and investigating incidents.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS cloud security (or equivalent Azure/GCP experience with some AWS).
• Experience with Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS) and container security principles.
• Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
• Experience leading security reviews and threat modeling, translating findings into security controls.
• Practical web application security knowledge (e.g., OWASP Top-10).
• Hands-on IaC experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi.
• Automation/tooling development experience with Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with remote, globally distributed teams.
• Experience in organizations that develop software and/or operate managed infrastructure for customers.
• Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
