Security Settlements – Associate, Core Services

Overview

Associate role in the Core Services Security Settlements function within Operations, supporting end-to-end settlement of securities trades across global markets.

What you'll do

• Execute processes and functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.
• Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out key issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Build relationships within the team and with internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output.
• Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution.
• Act as a Securities Settlements specialist, managing and supporting the end-to-end settlement process across global markets.
• Partner with Operations teams, Business Units and Agent Banks to maximize successful trade settlement while minimizing financial, franchise and regulatory risk to the Firm and its clients.

What you'll need

• Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Subject matter expertise in the business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests.
• Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values.
• 3–7.5 years of experience in a Securities Operations role.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and front-to-back operational function.
