Senior Accountant

Overview

Senior Accountant at Mactores, where you will run the finance function for two entities (India and the US) with daily accounting close and continuous cash, ledger, and statutory reporting.

What you'll do

• Run daily books close for both India and US entities.
• Publish cash position every day.
• Categorize transactions on the day they land.
• Own cash forecasting and daily close operations.
• Handle revenue recognition on fixed-fee SOWs.
• Manage AP and AR, collections, and budget vs actual on partner-funded programs.
• Manage the statutory calendar for two countries.

What you'll need

• Be one of two people in the finance function.
• Bring accounting in-house (today it is outsourced).
• Maintain continuously clean data for founders’ AI ledger queries.
• Ensure month-end becomes a review rather than an excavation.
• Report to the founders.

Details

• Working hours are 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm IST.
• You will own both entities: India and the US.
