Overview
Senior Agentic Platform Engineer II to build Porch’s shared Agentic Platform foundation for internal teams.
What you'll do
- Build retrieval pipelines and define how teams create and run agentic workflows.
- Design, deploy, manage, and retire remote agents.
- Create and operate internal MCP servers and set associated standards.
- Route and govern model access via an LLM gateway.
- Own retrieval-augmented generation patterns and retrieval quality.
- Create AI evaluation and observability tooling and instrumentation.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years building LLM-powered systems that reached production.
- 2+ years in a senior or technical lead role.
- Production-grade Python; JVM fluency required (Java/Kotlin) and Scala is plus.
- Hands-on MCP experience and agent orchestration with LangGraph or equivalent.
- Production RAG experience, including vector stores and retrieval quality measurement.
- Experience evaluating non-deterministic systems (eval harnesses, regression suites, prompt versioning).
Details
- Location requirement: must reside in or be located within 150 km of Greater Delhi NCR, Greater Bangalore, or Greater Pune.
- Workplace type: Remote; core US overlap 7:30pm–11:30pm IST.
- Pay range: ₹40,50,000–₹56,70,000 INR annually.
- Working hours: 8 hours (excluding breaks), with 4 core US hours overlap and 4 flexible hours (IST).
