Senior AI Software Engineer

Overview

Senior AI Software Engineer in NiCE Labs (AI Innovation) building and validating new AI capabilities through end-to-end prototypes and reference implementations for enterprise product teams.

What you'll do

• Build agentic systems and full-stack prototypes end-to-end.
• Track frontier AI capabilities (new models, agent patterns, protocols like MCP) and turn them into working prototypes.
• Design and run experiments to validate concepts using quality, latency, cost, and user impact metrics.
• Partner with internal users, product managers, and customers to validate concepts early and iterate quickly.
• Convert validated prototypes into reference implementations and write-ups for product teams, then hand off cleanly.
• Provide feedback to product and platform teams on where AI capabilities perform well or poorly.
• Move between initiatives as priorities shift and compound learnings across bets.

What you'll need

• 4+ years building full-stack software, including projects started from nothing.
• Shipped LLM-powered systems to production used by real users.
• Comfort understanding AI agents below the framework level (message arrays, tool calling, context management, prompt caching) and building an agent loop from scratch.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar) as a default workflow.
• Hands-on full-stack ability taking an API prototype to a demo UI, using TypeScript/Node.js and React.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and move quickly when results point elsewhere.

• Work mode: NICE-FLEX hybrid model (2 days office, 3 days remote each week).
