Senior Analyst - Forecasting

Overview

Senior Analyst - Forecasting partners with commercial and finance leaders to build defensible demand and patient outlooks for strategic brands and early assets.

What you'll do

• Deliver timely demand forecasts for key markets and leading brands, documenting assumptions and confidence.
• Build and maintain product-specific short- and long-term forecast models, including patient-based models.
• Integrate primary research and secondary data into assumptions and run sensitivity analyses.
• Align forecast assumptions and analysis with cross-functional partners and defend methodology to teams.
• Develop short- and long-term volume forecasts for new launches and support S&OP inputs.
• Advance forecasting capabilities using statistical/predictive methods and simulations (e.g., Monte Carlo).

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of direct pharmaceutical forecasting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of forecasting techniques, models, and approaches.
• Good understanding of multiple disease areas, including rare diseases/OBU and treatment pathway dynamics.
• Experience integrating market study insights and existing data into forecast assumptions.
• Experience using pharmaceutical data sources and analytics (e.g., IQVIA, claims data, epidemiological data).
• Strong analytical expertise plus excellent Excel, financial modelling, and forecasting skills.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Work style: Hybrid schedule on a 2 PM–11 PM IST basis.
• On average, minimum of three days per week from the office.
