Specialist - Forecasting Oncology

Overview

Specialist – Forecasting for US Oncology to develop and steward short-, mid-, and long-term forecast models that guide strategy and prioritisation.

What you'll do

• Own short-, mid-, and long-term forecast models for key product lines.
• Build and maintain product-specific short- and long-term patient flow forecasting models.
• Align forecast assumptions and outputs with Marketing, Sales, Market Access and Pricing, Finance, and Sales Operations.
• Present and defend forecast approaches, methodologies, assumptions, and outputs to senior leadership.
• Run scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to quantify uncertainties and manage risks.
• Supervise competitive landscape, policy shifts, and broader Oncology trends to keep models current.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 10 to 15 years of direct pharmaceutical forecasting experience.
• In-depth understanding of Oncology patient diagnosis-to-treatment pathways and treatment dynamics.
• Strong grasp of US reimbursement scenario and US Oncology forecasting.
• Experience integrating market research and secondary data analysis into forecast assumptions.
• Experience using US forecasting data such as TRx/NBRx/NRx and related methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills including excellent Excel and financial modelling/forecasting skills.
