Overview
Senior Product Manager for BlueOptima’s Code Insights application security product. You’ll own the end-to-end product roadmap, narrative, and commercial outcomes, representing the product with customers and internally to senior leadership.
What you'll do
- Own and defend the Code Insights product roadmap across secrets detection, SAST, and SCA/dependency risk.
- Partner with engineering to ship high-quality releases and make trade-off decisions on scope, timeline, and security depth.
- Report product health, risk, and roadmap progress directly to senior leadership, including exec/C-suite settings.
- Serve as the external and internal face for pitching to CISOs, SecOps leads, and security architects.
- Own customer pilots end to end, from technical validation through commercial conversion.
- Translate field and prospect input into product decisions and decline requests that don’t fit the product strategy.
- Build and refine a product-led growth motion using developer-first tooling (CLI, pre-commit hooks, CI/CD scanning).
What you'll need
- 6–7+ years in product management or a customer-facing technical role with ownership of roadmap decisions.
- Working knowledge of application security concepts such as SAST, SCA, secrets detection, or software supply chain security.
- Comfort owning outcomes tied to revenue and retention, not just shipped features.
- Track record managing roadmaps and backlog hygiene (Jira or equivalent) and stakeholder reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication, executive presence, and judgment to push back.
- Business and interpersonal range, including MBA or equivalent business training.
